North™ Dynamix transforms the ceiling plane with dynamic moving visual effects that bring subtle motion, depth, and visual interest into interior spaces. Rather than relying on static backlit imagery, this multifunction recessed luminaire uses generative algorithms to produce gentle, continuously evolving scenes that never repeat. The result is an immersive ceiling experience designed to create a calming, restorative atmosphere while also providing high-quality, controllable tunable white illumination for functional and visual tasks.

Designed for office areas, hospitals, retail stores, nursing homes, hospitality environments, common areas, and atriums, North Dynamix brings a different dimension to recessed lighting. Its 1.25” regressed aperture and frosted single-piece lens are designed to enhance visual depth while providing uniform illumination. Rounded C-129 and square C-128 corner aperture options allow the luminaire to work with different architectural aesthetics while maintaining a clean, integrated ceiling appearance.

At the heart of North Dynamix is its ability to combine architectural LED lighting with changing visual scenes. Available scenes include Clouds, Aurora, Ripple, Water Droplets, Trees, and Tunable White. Dynamic scenes introduce gentle movement, while the Tunable White scene provides functional illumination from 2700K to 6500K, with 90 CRI at 4000K. This combination allows one luminaire to support visual atmosphere and practical illumination instead of limiting the ceiling to a single static effect.

Control is built around a simple wireless experience. A Bluetooth button pad provides access to scene changes, brightness adjustment, dynamic scene speed, and CCT adjustment for the white scene. A device-hosted Wi-Fi user interface supports commissioning and advanced control from a mobile device or PC, with no hub, router, cloud connection, or app required. Luminaires can operate independently or be grouped into zones, with options to enable or disable scenes, establish default scene parameters, adjust high-end trim by scene, and digitally rotate the visual panel after installation. Default scene settings are retained following a power outage.

North Dynamix is a self-contained solution that combines continuously changing imagery and controllable white light in one recessed luminaire. Available for standalone installations or scalable arrays, it gives designers a flexible way to introduce movement and visual depth into the ceiling while maintaining the functionality required from architectural illumination. The luminaire is ETL Certified to UL1598 and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0, suitable for dry and damp locations, and RoHS compliant.
