North™ Dynamix Pendant

North™ Dynamix is an innovative pendant lighting solution that brings dynamic moving visual effects and functional illumination together in one architectural luminaire. Designed to transform the ceiling plane, it uses generative algorithms to create gentle, continuously evolving imagery that never repeats. Moving Clouds, Aurora, Ripple, Water Droplets and Trees introduce subtle movement and visual depth, while a dedicated Tunable White scene provides controllable white illumination when functional lighting is required. The result is one versatile fixture that can shift between immersive visual scenes and practical everyday illumination.  

Unlike static backlit printed panels, North Dynamix uses motion and changing imagery to create a more dynamic overhead experience. Its frosted single-piece lens and 1.25” regressed aperture enhance visual depth while supporting uniform illumination. Rounded and square corner aperture options allow the fixture to coordinate with different architectural environments. Designed for applications including hospitals, offices, retail stores, nursing homes, hospitality spaces, common areas and atriums, North Dynamix gives designers another way to integrate light, visual interest and movement into the ceiling plane.

As a multifunction architectural LED lighting solution, North Dynamix also provides Tunable White illumination from 2700K to 6500K, with 90 CRI at 4000K. Wireless controls provide access to scene selection, brightness, dynamic scene speed and CCT adjustment for the white scene. A device-hosted Wi-Fi interface supports commissioning and advanced control from a mobile device or PC, while Bluetooth button-pad controls provide straightforward everyday operation. No hub, router, cloud connection or app is required. Settings, including the default scene and parameters, are retained following a power outage.

North Dynamix can operate as a standalone luminaire or be grouped into zones and scalable arrays, providing flexibility across different project sizes. Individual scenes can be enabled or disabled, high-end trim can be set by scene, and digital panel rotation can be configured after installation through the user interface. The fixture uses an adjustable aircraft cable mounting system and a heavy-gauge, cold-rolled steel housing with a polyester powder-coated finish. Its 120–277V electrical system incorporates a Class 2 lighting circuit with integrated controls.

North™ Dynamix expands the role of pendant lighting beyond illumination, combining evolving visual content, tunable white light and intuitive control within a single fixture. Available with rounded or square corners, it gives designers a distinctive architectural option for spaces where lighting can contribute both functional illumination and a changing visual experience. The product is ETL Certified to UL1598 and CSA C22.2 No. 250.0, RoHS compliant, suitable for dry and damp locations, and backed by a three-year limited warranty.
