Designed for tamper-proof performance, the VRD4 features a rigid 18-gauge steel install frame and a sealed optical assembly secured with Torx™ tamper-resistant screws. The lens is made from high-impact polycarbonate and sealed into the trim with EPDM gaskets, ensuring a clean, secure fit that resists forced entry and environmental wear. The VRD4 isn’t just tough, it’s smart. Its COB-style LED engine is factory-sealed yet field-replaceable, offering high efficiency and consistent color performance across a wide range of CCT options (2700K to 5000K) with standard 80 CRI and optional 90 CRI. Tunable white options (2700K–6500K) are also available for dynamic lighting needs. With a lifetime L70 rating exceeding 60,000 hours, this downlight minimizes maintenance and maximizes uptime.

From an electrical standpoint, the fixture supports universal voltage (120–277V or 347V) and includes a programmable, dimmable driver (0–10V to 1%). Optional DALI drivers and low-voltage controllers expand compatibility with advanced lighting systems.
